Kenji the Tanuki

He's my newest character (Besides vampire Cameron, but that'll be posted later.) And I love him to bits <3

He's still being written out and getting concept ideas; but he's based on the Tanuki in Japanese folktales along with the setting I RP in. 

He's mischievous, and a master of disguise. He uses his tanuki magic to shapeshift into various people and things. However due to his forgetful nature, whenever he transitions, he always forgets to change some part of his original form (such as forgetting to change an ear or both; or forgetting about the tail.) He's also very gullible and doesn't understand the concepts of sarcasm and stretching the truth. He will believe practically anything one tells him. Which leads to some confusion when the things people tell him conflict. 

He was born in Japan, but got led astray, which led to him walking on a boat headed for the United States. When he arrived off the boat, he appeared as a Japanese man. Since then he has looked like various people while he's been trying to search for home. 

He can speak some Japanese, but very basic everyday phrases and can only speak it when he's in a humanoid form. When he is in a humanoid form and when people talk to him in English, he'll just give them weird expressions and try to avoid most of the talking.

I love him, and he's gonna happen somehow <3
